we set up our booth on monday and went through two days of wholesale then four days of retail, we met Ping Wu and Tim and Marshall bought scarves from her. Kristy bought her scarf last year from Ping, before Ping was on poject runway and we didn't know her. We started using lots of silver in our designs and continued to use the Ebony as well.
Jewelry with a conscience. Art as the perfect accessory. An expression of life.
Recycling rough materials into miniature sculptures meant to be worn, Mio Studio crafts new life from exotic hardwoods and precious metals. Artists Mayra Orama Muñiz and Erica Millner hand carve and sand each piece from to start to finish, using their years of experience to meld remnants and scraps together into clean, modern designs.
